The RG Tracker team with its years of transportation experience built a comprehensive solution to meet the transportation industry needs for tracking assets. This solution uses the SmartOne Solar™ Hardware on the GlobalStar network as its primary messaging device via GPS. Optionally, cellular devices may be used in areas where cell coverage is available. All hardware is warranted for the life of the service agreement against manufacturer’s defects or product failure not due to physical damage.
SmartOne Solar™
The SmartOne Solar™ was developed to be a completely independent device with solar powered battery units that provide 8+ years of usable service. This rugged design allows for the device to operate in very extreme temperature and operating conditions within the transportation industry. The SmartOne Solar™ can be installed and operational within minutes. The SmartOne Solar™ hardware together with the MyConnect Manager (MCM) software provides cost effective asset tracking and management.
The SmartOne Solar™ may also be powered via a connecting cable from the trailer’s 7-pin terminal when the trailer is hooked to the truck.
